Galleria Russo presents to its collectors a collection of works created by the screenwriter and writer Enrico Vanzina, here in the lesser-known role of a photographer. The proceeds from the sale of the photographs, printed with a circulation of eight copies each, will be entirely donated to the purchase of a high-resolution manometer for the Pediatric Gastroenterology Complex Unit of the Umberto I University Hospital – La Sapienza University, Rome directed by prof. . Salvatore Cucchiara.
The set designer Gaetano Castelli, already protagonist with his inventions of some of the most famous television programs, in the critical text accompanying the catalog recalls how Vanzina the photographer is a revelation: “Enrico walks poised on the edge of the world, among an intense sky like the blue of Yves Klein and the golden yellow of the Egyptian desert that will soon be transformed into the stardust of the imagination ”.
