Two young Roman artists open the exhibition season of the Russo Gallery. In the spaces of Via Alibert 20 – Rome, on 21 September 2017 “Nuove Ricerche” will open to the public an evening dedicated to the presentation of the works of Luca Di Luzio and Veronica Montanino. The different starting points used by Luca and Veronica are resolved in continuous and unexpected new aesthetic-symbolic arrivals. The works manage to create a communion of expressions personally reworked by each individual visitor, who finds in them the dimension of new worlds, pushing themselves to the ephemeral. Flashy colors, geographic maps, complex structures, expanded shapes. A riot of energy directed towards new places where meaning and signifier are wisely mixed, allowing the viewer to embark on a journey into spaces on the border between known and unknown.
Camouflage, remix and multicolor paints are part of the techniques that blend in the “site specific” installation specially created for the evening by Veronica Montanino, while the work presented by Luca Di Luzio anticipates the next solo exhibition of the artist at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. “New Research” is an opportunity for the public to observe and immerse themselves in creations that go beyond the contemporary.
Inauguration Thursday 21 September at 6 pm, in the spaces of the historic Galleria Russo in the heart of Rome, between Piazza di Spagna and via Margutta, in via Alibert, 20. Giovanni Romagnoli’s DJset will accompany the evening. The exhibition will be visible inside the gallery until 30 September 2017 on Mondays from 16.30 to 19.30 and from 10 to 19.30, from Tuesday to Saturday.
